CIB 384: End of Financial Year document lodgement

End of Financial Year is traditionally a time of high lodgement activity. From Wednesday, 29 June to Thursday, 30 June 2022, Landgate will support customers and industry with the following initiatives:

Express lodgement terminals: Three (3) express lodgement terminals will be available for customers who have up to three (3) documents to lodge. Customers using the express queues must pay via EFTPOS or cheque. Cash facilities will not be available at these terminals.

Multiple document lodgement terminals: Landgate will set up additional lodgement terminals on these days for customers lodging more than three (3) documents.

Lodgement acceptability checklist: All documents presented for lodgement must be checked and pass against the lodgement acceptability checklist by a Landgate authorised officer. The following resources will assist in dealing compliance and in reducing customer wait times:

Electronic lodgement: To avoid the uncertainty of paper lodgements, both at settlement and at lodgement, Landgate encourages electronic lodgement of land transfer documents. More information on electronic lodgement can be found on the eConveyancing page.

End of Financial Year business hours: Landgate lodgement hours remain strictly 8:30am to 4:30pm. Documents will not be accepted for lodgement outside these hours.

COVID-safe practice: We ask all our customers to:

  • Practice good hygiene by using the automatic hand sanitiser stations at the entrance to both our Perth and Midland sites, and on our counters.
  • If possible, please only attend the Landgate offices for lodgement of documents.

It is the responsibility of the lodging party to ensure documents comply at lodgement and if they are subject to a non-compliance report, they must be made compliant prior to 4:30pm on 29 June 2022.
