Supplying this information to Landgate is a requirement under the Valuation of Land Act 1978 (VLA) and helps us deliver fair and equitable gross rental values (GRVs). Local governments, Water Corporation WA and Department of Fire and Emergency Services use the GRV to calculate rates, service charges and levies.
Secure and confidential
The Valuer-General collects this information under sections 11 and 12 of the VLA. In accordance with section 13 of the VLA, confidentiality will be maintained, and your rental information will be kept secure.
