New Property Interest Report helps buyers make better-informed decisions
Landgate's new Property Interest (PI) report, allows people to discover important information about a particular property or parcel of land.
A property interest may give rights to a land owner but it could also imply restrictions, or impose responsibilities, that could impact on an owner's intended use of the land.
The comprehensive report, launched today, provides real estate professionals, potential and existing home buyers with information on Government interests over land.
The PI report is part of Landgate's program of work to protect and inform the public about their rights and responsibilities on land and property. It has been available since 2008 for property professionals and now will be publically available.
There are over 80 legislated interests which may impact an owners' use and enjoyment of land and property and the PI report is able to report on 44 of these legislated interests.
The new report will be available to all customers from Landgate's online shop and retail for $54.95 (incl. GST). To order a report is easy, and online.
