Tape and Staff Calibrations


Landgate maintains a testing facility on the ground floor of its Midland Building. A 30m calibration bench is used and is certified and legally traceable to the National Standard of Length. These are used to satisfy accuracy standards required in client quality assurance procedures and in the case of licensed surveyors, satisfies legal requirements. A certificate detailing the error of the supplied tape or staff and corrections to be applied for use, is provided on completion.
