System Compatibility


Landgate website and applications (including Map Viewer) are compatible with the following operating systems and browsers:

Operating Systems:

  • Windows 98 SE
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP HE
  • Windows XP Pro
  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista

    Browsers:

    • Netscape 7.1
    • Firefox 3.6
    • Internet Explorer 5.5
    • Internet Explorer 6
    • Internet Explorer 7 with the following exception (The Print Preview function in My Landgate Map Viewer does not work when using IE7)
    • Internet Explorer 8 with the following exception (The Print Preview function in My Landgate Map Viewer does not work when using IE8). Compatibility View may be required to be turned on.
    • Internet Explorer 9 is currently being tested for compatibility with Landgate Applications. Customers will be advised when this has been completed.
    • Customer may experience some issues relating to platform and/or operating systems – if you encounter problems please contact our customer service team on 9273 7341.

    Scheduled Maintenance

    Customers please note that Landgate performs system upgrades and maintenance on a regular basis. During these times some or all services may be unavailable, however Landgate will provide Customers with details about which products or services are temporarily unavailable.

    Our current scheduled maintenance times are:

    • Application changes are undertaken on Wednesdays 5pm to 9pm
    • Network/infrastructure changes are undertaken on Fridays 5pm to 9pm
