Spatial Cadastral Database

The SCDB is part of a corporate Geographic Information System (GIS), which stores spatially defined cadastral and related information in a database. This includes approved cadastral boundaries, lodged cadastral boundaries, control marks, easements, topographic reference boundaries, surveyed mining tenement boundaries and administrative boundaries. It operates as a seamless map across the whole State, with all data referenced to a common framework of geographical coordinates based on the Geocentric Datum of Australia (GDA94).
