From 1 January 2004 some of the products previously exempt from payment of GST will no longer be exempt because they are considered a taxable supply. This will include products previously exempt when provided by the Valuer General such as maps and other sales and property information products not considered part of the rating and taxing valuation process under the Valuation of Land Act 1978.
