As a government agency that operates a comprehensive and integrated administration of land information system, Landgate provides a unique opportunity for staff members from international governments to learn through hands on experience how to operate a modern administration of land information system.

Landgate runs Professional Work Placement and Training Programs for administration of land information practitioners from across the Asia Pacific region and beyond. This program enables international governments to send their staff to Australia to:

  • Work alongside Landgate’s own experts to learn how to operate a specific element of administration of land information
  • Attend hands on training courses on specific topics of administration of land information and land information systems and the development of business management skills (such as leadership and project management) in a land information management environment.

Six training areas of administration of land information are covered over the four week course:

  • Land Titling and Registration
  • Geographic Information Management
  • Cadastral Mapping and Surveying
  • Geographic & Land Information Systems
  • Business Management
  • Satellite Remote Sensing Services

A four week tailored Professional Work Placement and Training program with Landgate provides it’s participants with the chance of a lifetime.


After completing Landgate International's four week Professional Work Placement and Training Program, participants will leave with:

The cost of the four week course includes:

  • Full course tuition
