New Board Appointment

Minister for Lands, Hon Brendon Grylls has announced the appointment of Katrina Burton as chair of the Western Australian Land Information Authority –Landgate.
Ms Burton has a law degree and is a founding member of the Board. She has held the position of Deputy Chair since its inception in 2007.
She is also a founding member and director of EON Foundation Inc, a charitable organisation working in the area of indigenous health and eduction.
Paul White has been appointed as a board member.
Mr White, holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and in Computer Science. He currently manages the nationally funded Western Australian Genetic Epidemiology Resource at the University of Western Australia.
Mr Grylls said Ms Burton’s experience as deputy chair and a board member under the inaugural chairmanship of Monty House will be pivotal in taking Landgate forward.
He said Mr White’s experience in strategic planning and information solutions would provide a new stream of expertise to the board.
Both appointments are for a three year term.
