Message from the CEO
Landgate's transition from the Department of Land Information in January 2007, established it as the State's key source of land and property information.
Along with new opportunities presented to us as a statutory authority, the agency remains the official repository of all land records in Western Australia – a role dating back to 1829.
Today, Landgate delivers products and services at the leading edge of the information economy, and is the host for Western Australia’s Shared Land Information Platform.
We are aware of our role as a good corporate citizen and as such run a number of community programs, including a schools-based initiative. We also maintain a strong sustainability commitment that includes a number of environmentally-friendly initiatives such as carbon accounting.
Landgate’s Graduate Development Program (GDP) is aimed at attracting talented graduates to join our existing workforce.
As a participant in the GDP, you will be provided with the opportunity to develop and apply your skills across a range of business units.
You will receive structured support, regular monthly training opportunities, work rotation within the agency, and be involved in a graduate-specific project. You will also be encouraged to contribute to the agency’s day-to-day service delivery by bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to the department.
All of this is designed to give you a valuable head-start in the industry.
I am proud to support the Graduate Development Program and look forward to welcoming you to Landgate.
Grahame Searle
