Why did you join the Landgate Graduate Program?

The rotations around the department, flexible working hours, and development workshops were all fantastic opportunities. With Landgate’s innovative culture and genuine focus on training and development; it has been the perfect place to kick-start my career.

Starting in Landgate International was a great experience, as I was exposed to many important projects in my first few weeks. One of these was the FireWatch Indonesia project. The program has also involved lots of training and development, which has helped to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The graduate program puts us all in a position to express our ideas and opinions in an innovative and creative manner. The training opportunities allow us to develop our skills in a practical sense, as well as providing us with networking opportunities which have already proved to be very useful.

I never expected to achieve so much in my first year out of university. In the next few years I’m considering returning to university to complete further studies, but in the meantime will be looking forward to more challenges from Landgate.

Why did you join the Landgate Graduate Program?

I believed the rotations throughout the agency would help me decide on a career path. Landgate’s Code of Values attracted me because an agency that puts time into listening to its employees was definitely one I wanted to be a part of.

The program so far has made me feel that I made the right choice applying for Landgate. The training and support that has been offered to me has been fantastic. In my first rotation I was part of a project team where I was exposed to challenging work that enabled me to work towards reaching my potential and achieve personal goals. The people that I have met and the friendships that I have formed have made my time at Landgate especially rewarding. Combined with a great working environment where I have been given responsibilities and challenges, I have been able to further the development of my skills.

During the Graduate Program I was given the opportunity to be involved with significant Landgate projects. The work that was involved caught my interest and I wish to move in the direction of working in Project Management so I can continue to be on the forefront of Landgate’s future business activities.

Why did you join the Landgate Graduate Program?

The programs rotations, added with the benefits of extensive training and development opportunities and a flexible work-life balance, Landgate’s Graduate Program had the perfect combination and it is good to have some freedom of choice when it comes to my career.

The graduate program so far has been very rewarding and contributed greatly to my professional growth. The support of your peers and mentors really helps to guide you through the induction period so you settle into the new workplace relatively smoothly.
The best aspects of the Landgate graduate program is the freedom of choice that you are allowed. The program encourages you to get as much out of it as you a prepared to put in and there are no shortages of opportunities to develop further. I have particularly enjoyed the interaction I have had with various sections of the organisation as well as the many training and development courses I have attended. The graduate group is also a great feature of the program as you form a tight support group to assist each other whenever necessary. The best aspect of the graduate program has to be the control you have over your own career path through Landgate. If there is something that you want to be involved in you are strongly encouraged to pursue it.

On the program there are opportunities and facilities available to you that provide for an amazing first year at work. Being a graduate at Landgate your name is put out there by your managers and the graduate program coordinator. As a result I have been involved in several projects, courses and activities. Everyone knows who you are as a graduate and it is a great opportunity to build a good reputation.
