EDM and GNSS Test Facilities

Landgate provides testing facilities for your Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) instruments and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers.

Testing facilities:

For EDM calibration

Curtin University, Kent Street, Bentley, 24 hrs 7 days a week.
Kalgoorlie Explosives Reserve, Piccadilly Street, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Booking required.
Busselton, Busselton Bypass, 24hrs 7days a week.

Landgate has developed EDM Calibration Software BaselineWA that allows users of the EDM calibration facilities to calibrate their own EDM.

For GNSS testing

Curtin University, Kent Street, Bentley, 24 hrs 7 days a week.

All of these facilities are checked and re-calibrated against the national standard every two years.
