Document Lodgement & Registration Service
Approximately 470,000 documents are lodged per year at Landgate. Lodgements are accepted at various metropolitan and regional locations and depending on the document type can be received in a variety of formats. Landgate also offers a document tracking and duplication service.
Approximate turnaround times for the issue of titles are recorded each week and are available for your information.
Landgate’s new ‘Registrar and Commissioner of Titles Joint Practice: Verification of Identity’ is now available. The Practice commenced transitioning on 1 July 2012. Full compliance is expected on documents lodged with Landgate on 2 January 2013. Further information including a copy of the Practice can be found here.
