Digital Elevation Models
Digital Elevation Models are used for the generation of terrain models, slope maps, aspect maps and contours. They are developed from digital aerial photography and aid in the detection of salt affected areas in the South West of Western Australia.
Digital Elevation Models use regularly spaced grids and Digital Terrain Models use irregularly spaced heights to represent the ground surface.
Coverage
Can be generated for areas where ortho-rectified aerial mosaics are available.
