Award winning system now available

Landgate’s Shared Land Information Platform (SLIP) Enabler was launched to the WA business community on Tuesday September 2, at a twilight function at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
The launch was well attended with more than 160 people moving around the various booths looking at live demonstrations of SLIP at work.
The SLIP Enabler uses internet technology to link the systems of relevant government departments into a single, real-time online access platform for geographic and spatial information.
The system has been designed to avoid duplication of sources and speed up the process of accessing information across government departments.
It’s expected to save participating companies tens of thousands of dollars in fees and labour time each year.
