Landgate’s aerial photography covers most of Western Australia and dates back to 1948. A Coverage Index of flown photography shows availability and includes date, scale, map sheet name and number and project number. Copies of flight diagrams are also available upon request.

We offer the following options:

• Orthorectified aerial photography (photography that has been geometrically corrected) can be viewed and purchased online via our Map Viewer. A Coverage Index of Landgate's orthophoto mosaics shows availability and status of orthorectified photography.

• Unrectified (i.e. not geometrically corrected) aerial photographic scans and enlargements are available in digital format. Depending on the nature of the original photograph, scans and plots are available at 453dpi or 1270dpi, in colour or black and white. Additional costs will apply for scans at a higher resolution.

• Contact prints are a same size copy of a negative and are delivered on photographic paper in colour, or black and white. Enlargements are available for purchase in various sizes.

• Diapositives are a photographic print reproduced onto transparent film. Orders for diapositives are delivered within seven working days.

• Historic photographs of Perth are available in poster format and can be laminated upon request.
