Welcome to the 2004-2005 Annual Report

This Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of DLI’s operations. It provides information on the agency’s achievements, products, finances and corporate structure, as well as outlining the major issues and trends that affect DLI and its stakeholders.

Highlights during 2004-2005

It has been a year filled with highlights for DLI. The Department has been recognised both abroad and at home for its technological excellence, quality of service and superior products.

Some of DLI's achievements for 2004/2005 include: The successful development of an approved implementation plan for the Shared Land Information Platform (SLIP), the development of a new Code of Conduct, the national launch of FireWatch, the significant expansion of DLI's consultancy services both abroad and at home, assisting DLI's successful bid for an $11 million contract to fund a major land administration and environmental project in Vietnam.

DLI is thriving, and as it approaches its transition into a Statutory Authority, this trend is set to continue.
